How do I proceed with this issue? I would like to post GI for the production order. In MTO scenario, when i try to do GI for a production order, the system is referrring to the BOM materials of the first item of the sales order and the movement type refers to Special procurement E. Unable to do MB1A for a production order - Toolbox for IT Groups.I want to know the basic difference between MB1A, MB1B, MB1C Transactions, I know that all the transaction are for movement of goods and through MB1C we upload the initial stock with mvt type 561, but what are other differences? Difference between MB1A, MB1B, MB1C - Toolbox for IT Groups.

The requirement to have F_BKPF_BUP in MM movement transactions comes from the fact that posting a material doc frequently results in posting an FI doc as well, via a function call (which is why you can't see the authority check in MB1A by s. Those are two different concepts altogether. F_BKPF_BUP deals with the posting periods in FI. MMRV, MMPV, and related stuff deal with the posting periods in MM.

We have a requirement where we have to allow 201 movement only for those parts whose bulk indicator is maintained in MRP2 view or else error message. 201 movement to be allowed only for bulk materials through MB1A - Toolbox for IT Groups.

You can extend the material to that storage location by MM01 code Jon norton via sap-log-mm wrote:ITtoolbox sap-log-mm
#Sap movement type 344 and 555 update
I have observed update failure for transaction - MB1A in Production environment. The location I had selected is HU managed and in this case, as per standard SAP settings, any transaction using this storage location will create Delivery. I want to scrap Sales order stock using MB1A and movement 551 E. Packing not allowed for Outbound delivery created with movement 551-E.I'm trying to use BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE, but its not reflecting the Documented Goods Movements in the Production Order. In brief, we have to get the functionality of MB1A done. We need to post Goods Movement with reference to Production order. Post GM with reference to Production Order using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE.I have a production order with 10 components, 2 of them is backflush, 8 is non-backflush.
